Day of Caring is a day in which community volunteers join forces to complete projects for non-profit organizations that lack the resources to handle the projects themselves.

Day of Caring projects range from painting walls, fences, sheds, and playground equipment to washing vehicles and windows, or just sharing a special talent with children. Adults and high school-aged youth are welcome to participate in this annual event. 

It is the United Fund's hope that Day of Caring event participants will continue their caring acts beyond this one day and make volunteering a meaningful activity in their daily lives.
