Decatur County United Fund Community Investments ---

Each Decatur County United Fund Agency's program is but a part of a total health, welfare, and character building group of services  designed to meet the need of our community.  Decatur County United Fund has the responsibility to consider the community program as a whole when investing funds.  With needs increasing, the community investment process becomes a challenge for dedicated committee volunteers.  Convening annually, committee members are responsible for hearing presentations and scrutinizing budgets to spend United Fund dollars in the most efficient way possible.

Application available in February.

Applications due in March.

Agency interviews in April.

Community Investment Committee makes recommendation to the United Fund Board of Directors in May.

Letters of intent are mailed in May.

After the campaign in the Fall, grants will be awarded the following year.
