Volunteer Opportunities

United Fund's Day of Caring 2025 was a success! 22 projects, with the help of 128 volunteers, were completed throughout the county at 12 agencies. A special thank you to Centra Credit Union, Decatur County Memorial Hospital, Decatur County REMC, Delta Faucet, Duke Energy,  First Financial Bank, GECOM, German American Bank, Greensburg Community High School - JAG Program students, Messer-Rust-Burkert Advisors - Ameriprise Financial Services,  North Decatur High School, RBSK Partners, and South Decatur High School.

 

This event is a tradition for many area companies and organizations. Projects ranged from food prep, weeding and trimming shrubs and flower beds, power washing, washing windows and baseboards, organizing, and painting. In addition, teams painted playground equipment, installed transfers on shirts and hats, and cleaned two firehouses and many trucks.
